NITPCS is the professional body dedicated to professionalizing Information Technology practice within Nigeria's civil and public service — driving digital transformation from within government.
Our Vision
To be the foremost professional body that drives the standardization, recognition, and advancement of Information Technology practice within Nigeria's civil and public service, ensuring that IT professionals are equipped, certified, and empowered to deliver digital governance.
Our Mission
To advocate for the professional recognition of IT practitioners in the Nigerian civil service; to build capacity through training, summits, and certification; to foster collaboration between government IT professionals and policy makers; and to promote ethical, efficient, and innovative use of technology in public administration.
Conceived by Mr. Raphael Ayodele Omosola in 2014, NITPCS was established to give Nigeria's government IT professionals a unified voice, structured career pathways, and the professional recognition they deserve.
Proposal approved by the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
Inaugural Technology Innovation Group Summit held in Abuja.
Formal constitution adopted, covering all 36 states and the FCT.
Active members across government ministries, departments, and agencies.
Annual gatherings of IT professionals in civil service to discuss innovation, policy, and capacity building.
